Change Biome

Is there a hack to change the biome that my fortress site is in? I had found a nice site but it was a calm site, a bit boring.

Yeah, it's called Abandon Fortress. All you need to do is press Escape ingame, select the bottom option, press y, and embark in a better area.

Otherwise, no.

Hm well I embarked in a Temperate Forest on a Temperate biome, and the water still hasn't frozen after 4 years of play.

I have the world gen min/max temperature set to 50-60.  If I can't change the biome after trying it, I'm gunna have to be able to make sure I embark on the right biome =/
