How to stack and unstack items?

How do i stack and unstack Items? Say I have a bunch of coins i want to turn into a stack or arrows and they are the same type or I have a bunch of arrows in a stack but I want just one.

I don't think you can unfortunately. One of the more annoying aspects of the game, and it makes managing coins a mess. Alphas will be alpha. :)
