Question bout death.

If dwarfs don't see the death or ever see the corpse, do they get bd thoughts from it?

I think all dwarves automatically know when someone dies. If a lone miner in an isolated tunnel digs into magma and is burned to nothing, they'll still know.

Which leads to FUN if that particular miner had alot of friends and family.

The first lesson taught by DF is patience.
The second: Madness.
The third: Magma, properly applied, solves all problems.

They'll also know telepathically if the corpse decays, which also causes bad thoughts.
