Reveal2 for 31.18?

Has anyone gotten Reveal2.exe working with 31.18?  From the error messages that reveal reports, and from the memory hacking page on the Wiki, I've added the below to the reveal2.ini file...

But when I run, it reports...
"reveal2_sdlapp.bin returned an error code 00000009
(null)"

Reveal2 is now long-defunct. peterix's DFHack tool library,, however, is not, and it includes a tool that does exactly what Reveal2 did except better. By better, I mean A) you don't have to designate the whole lowest map level, and B) it can undo what it did, causing everything it revealed to be hidden again without you needing to exit the game and reload.

Hey, thanks for the tip about DFHack.  I tried running dfreveal, and it says "Revealing, please wait..." and seems to just sit there.  I waited for about 15 minutes, but there was no change.  Should it normally take this long?

Normally it takes about 5-10 seconds for me, perhaps your DF process froze?

I've given it several tries now, building new worlds and embarking at different sites, but I keep getting the same result. Any ideas?

I'm running version 31.18 of DF, completely vanilla, embarking at a 4x4 sites.  And I'm using version 0.5.1 of the DF Hack utility.  System Info is below...
