Finding Wildlife
« on: December 20, 2010, 01:36:35 pm »

I am playing Genesis mod with a Nord and for the love of me i can't find any wildlife anywhere.

I sneak around for days and i can't even find a single groundhog or Buzzard anywhere.

I was thinking of grinding my Peasant to become a great fighter and wrestler by poking animals to death but i can't find anything.

How can i find any wildlife?

You could go to a hamlet and ask a npc about surrounding locations until he tells you some field/forest or whatever is highly populated with whatever wildlife.

I often find following a river line leads to alligators and limbs bitten off. :(

Don't forget the occasional drowning or carp swarm!

A small creature sometimes found on paper.  It is small.  Its eyes are black. It is adored by children for its cuteness.

It's not easy to find the wildlife when you look for it. Animals somehow see further than a screen so they usually run away. However you can often find them when you travel from the world to the local map, and if there're deserted fortresses then they always have different animals living in them.

I often find following a river leads to a lot of dead hippos, a master swimming skill and a bruised leg. :D

You don't find them.

THEY FIND YOU.
