I just started up my military. The first squad stationed itself out side my entrance. Now they won't go to get ANYTHING. They won't eat or drink. They just stand there. How do make them not starve to death?

I do not have any leather to make them. What do I do?

Let them take a break on occasion so they can eat, drink, and sleep as needed. If you used the squads menu to order them someplace, cancel their order so they'll go off-duty. If you're using the schedules, set things so that they have a month off duty after every 1-2 months on duty. Use multiple squads if you want something covered full-time, or just set it so that the minimum number of soldiers to follow a given order is only 1/2 to 2/3 of the full number in the squad so soldiers who get really desperate can be relieved from duty in favor of fresh troops.

Go to military.
Schedule.
Select the schedule you are using.
go to edit order.
Now you can use the +/- keys to control how many people have to be doing the order at one time. I find that 7 or 8 out of a squad of 10 is good.
