It's probably the FB Class Reunion of Class A-time-before-time. It's not their fault their reservation for the area was lost through the ages and some hairy midgets started making holes there.

When socializing is done (or one of them gets tired of someone's life story), dinner time comes next...Dwarf buffet!

*trys to imagine forgotten beasts partying, mind is blown*
Also: Edit the raws so forgotten beasts are tamable.
Then capture and tame them, and put them in your dining hall/meeting place/ noble bedrooms.
Alternatively, train them as war animals and murder invaders.
