I would say that would be dwarven chicken, since that cats are so quick to breed.

Well, there are warthogs. Apparently they don't really taste like pork though.

There's always human... but that'd need a little raw changing!

You don't notice bacon in the game because when EVERYTHING is composed of bacon, there is no contract. Really, DF has more bacon they any of us could ever relies, and only the great Toad of the scripts can ever truly see the bacon for its divine beconess.

There actually are pigs. They just go extinct during world gen because everyone eats them.
