A few q's about moding
« on: December 02, 2010, 10:02:53 am »

(if this is in the wrong section, I apologize)

I currently have an unmodded game, however I'm thinking of making reptile men playable in adventure mode, I recall seeing a page that had the tags for making something playable in adventure mod but can't seem to find it...

Anyways what tags would I have to add to reptile men to make them playable as well as anything needed to make them wear/wield stuff if needed.

Try adding the [ADVENTURE_TIER:X] token to the beast men entry (X being a positive integer not already used, just try searching for the token and don't use any of the numbers already there). I think that will work but it might not since the beast men civs seem to be a little different than other civs. If it doesn't work, then try copy pasting the elven (you could use human, but I think that beast men might be a little more in touch with nature) entity, and then changing the [ADVENTURE_TIER:X] token to a new number and changing the [CREATURE:XXX] tag to the creature you want to use.

It would be brutally difficult and probably won't work. In other words, it's absolutely dwarven!
