Alright, so it ended up being bile, it infected my entire fortress with a sleeping/ skin rotting gas.  I now have 80+ dwarfs asleep, suffocating, and passed out wherever (some spots i have 10+ dwarfs in a single tile). the ones who are awake (mostly my army) the 35 of them, are now down to about 10ish, they are fighting the 2nd wave of demons to fly out, they are now being thrown agaisn't obstacles and exploding, including puppies.  Or being poisoned by 1 of there 3 tails.  A few of my experts are doing some damage, but who knows for how long,  my log consists of about 5 suffocation to a dwarf dying then 4 more of puppies/war elephants being thrown into obstacles and exploding

these things are so bad ass, i read some kills that were like "demon of diamond slams stinging into the head of a bull cow, extracts some kind of shit and the head explodes.  also a lot of 1 hit KO's with there with throw attacks, pretty much no one survived though.

there is my epic finally   it was glorious ! i had so much !FUN!

wait i can abandoned and reclaim and that will fix my contamination? will i get to keep my dwarfs that are still ok?  I made backups (well it saves every season )

However they still had to use df clean, but that was before 31.16, don't you use 31.18 though?
I guess you'll be given the whole army to reclaim this place

I really need to get pictures, my whole base is now covered in blood, like the hallway with 30 + dwarfs yeah it has so much blood of everyone on it, the demons just mowed through everyone since they were asleep .

dude that bile is seriously the worse thing in this game, i killed 3 FB no problem, load of demons, but 1 extract, just 1 piece destroyed 120+ dwarfs, all my animals got it so much worse since they didn't have clothes on.  EVERYONE is asleep, just laying around wherever it was before it sunk in, i have an entire fortress where everyone just, fell asleep; all spread out.  it's so crazy; and the demons just get to eat us up

oh yeah the demons have 4 legs, one of my uber elite swordman hacked off a few, and a couple tails, it's wings, and still got killed by one using steel armor and admantine short sword

That is actually pretty accurate in almost every war up to WWI more people died of disease than from wounds in battle, so DF just got a little more realistic.

Ok pictures soon, but first; I now have a 12 year old mayor, he like throwing temper tantrums, and his momma died recently.  He also had made a satisfying acquisition. he is one of the few who remain.   i love this game 

and his 1 year old sister has witness death, priceless

Edit: ROFL now he's attending a meeting with a sleeping horse outside.

now i just got an annoucement he has calmed down.  i have only 2  children who aren't asleep, but 50 sleeping dwarfs.

ID the mayor has just now fought a dog , and he also punched a donkey in the tail.
