Strange Trader Behavior [33d]
« on: December 08, 2007, 09:28:00 pm »

Human traders showed up, just before the new Trade Depot was built.  (Previous one was used as a support trap to kill some elves and yoink their goods.  Tee-hee!)

As soon as the new Depot was built, one of the trader's camels goes berserk (didn't know that could happen to animals!) and then one of the traders immediately became melancholy (never saw that, either!).

Maybe odd coincidence, but I thought I'd report it since I have never seen those two things happen and they might be tied to the Trade Depot construction.

If the traders (and their animals) aren't allowed to leave your fort, they will eventually go berserk/insane/melancholic, so that part isn't a bug.  How long were they there?

If software was real world, then it'd be something equivalent of hitting a nail with a hammer and having a building collapse on the other side of town.

Don't worry people, sometimes -moments occur

2 minutes?

They're on the edge of the map.  Because there was no Depot, they never moved once they arrived.  As soon as the Depot was built, the moods began.

All right, I'll have to see if I can get it to happen at some point.
