Bronze vs. Iron
« on: December 01, 2010, 04:55:25 am »

Just watched by iron great axe bounce off of a bronze helm. Is bronze definitively better than iron in .18?

Yes. If you check the raws, you will notice that it is heavier, and has better physical stats than iron in every way.

But Elves aren't Vegetarians. They eat people.
So they are humanitarians.

In actual combat they're about the same.  Both bronze and iron battle axes bounce off iron armor; bronze or iron spears penetrate iron armor and bronze armor about equally.  Steel trumps them both, and blunt weapons of any material pretty much ignore armor (but are less effective at killing unarmored targets than slashing weapons like battle axes).

Because normal science is boring
