In my current fortress my old major died in a goblin attack a year ago in which only a single child survived.

I just noticed on the dwarven justice screen that dwarves are getting jail time for a violation of production order with as the injured party my old mayor. Who has long since decomposed and is lying in his tomb.

There is no other dwarf with the same name as my old mayor and it can't be old punishments, because only a single child survived the attack in which the old mayor died.
