Fire snake venom?

M'key so, these are the vanilla Fire snake venom

It works just fine saying "Liquid fire splatter over poor bastards left lower arm" but it could just as well splatter lemonade because the Liquid fire dose nothing at all!

I have tryed this in the arena and in adventure mode.. So any awesome tips, or am I doomed to have a lemonade squirting beast?

you need to give it [MATFIXEDTEMP:reallyhighnumber] to have it burn things. If you want other effects, you'll need to attach a syndrome.

EDIT: Well above thing did nothing to improve the situation, not [FIXED_TEMP] either. Also FLAME_TEMPLATE already have 14000 as fixed temperature.

A intresting thing is that when I put the same "venom" in a breath attack it works just fine, melting humans instantly.

If you don't have a fixed temp for the venom, it will melt on contact.

Did you even bother to read the code? [FIXED_TEMP] is right there.

Also, [FLAME_TEMPLATE] have no melting point. And I have tryed with abd with out a ignite point.

I think since you're using injection you have to have [ENTERS_BLOOD]:

Not 100% sure on that, but I suggest trying that to see if it works, else there's probably something messed up somewhere else in the creature entry or somesuch.

EDIT: Also with trying that, if it doesn't work at first, it might be slightly funky thanks to the IGNITE_POINT or FIXED_TEMP tokens. (Missed what you said in the post above, my bad) And an additional thought: does the temperature of injected materials even work correctly at this point? I've noticed certain syndromes and temperature-related attack-type stuff is a little iffy and buggy, and has been for a long time.

I used the temp method when attempting to make injected digestive fluids and they didn't seem to do anything interesting whatsoever. There is the possibility that that was due to yet another quirk of arena mode (temperature in general is a little iffy in there), but that aside, it probably won't work.

Yeah that must be it, I have tested this in the arena and in adventure mode and if it slatters from a bite attack it dose nothing but if I use the exact same thing in a breathattack the target dies almost instantly... Ah well, I'll have my beast sneeze fire instead of drooling it then.
