Situational Wealth Procurement Emergency

There's a goblin Ringleader on the other side of a canyon. There are no slopes, only sheer cliffs (Well, 3 z levels). He carries a full set of masterful clothing and weaponry.

I WANT THAT. How can I get to it without him and his items de-spawning?
