I actually stick with hero mostly,  (Oddly enough when I did Demi-god I'd get overconfident, and then die a horrible death)  I'd say peasant is like hard mode,  hero is normal (seems to be about the same skill pick from when there were new points spreads)  and of course Demi-god is easy mode, I know it seems like it should work in the opposite... But that's just my opinion.

Though with the new combat system any of them are brutal,  my Elven Demigod can't walk without crutches, some bastard severed motor nerves in his right foot.
