Nickel's "sharp blades" use?

How can I use nickel to produce sharp blades? If it cant be done, why is it listed as a potential usage?

Sharp blades means, you can use the ore for the "make rock swords" task.
But those aren't really useful, a steel sword is still better.

The best use for nickel, or more for its ore garnierite, is to use it as a light green building material.
In that, its the only one of its light green kind.
