Dwarf Imprisons Self in Window
« on: September 25, 2006, 11:05:00 pm »

One of my dwarves managed to build a window right on top of himself. He was then stuck there until I finally realized what had happened.

Frozen in carbonite?

Though, if this can happen with windows, it could also happen with statues and any other object which is impassible once built.

It happen to one of my dwarfs once when he installed a statue. He spammed path-finding errors until the statue was removed. The statue was then placed again without trouble.

Aha, your dwarf thinks he's a mime.  He's doing that "trapped in glass" bit.

Kill him.

All right, I've noted it down.  They can normally move off of forbidden squares if they get stuck in them, though, so it's kind of odd.
