Anyone else found weird crafts yet?
« on: September 23, 2010, 11:11:53 am »

I genned up a world, and started an adventurer, and went to a cave inhabitated by kobolds. I could'nt find the kobolds, but I did find the following in addition to the usual trinkets found scattered around a kobold cave:

-A polar bear sinew crown
-A scepter made out of frozen helmet snake blood (eww...)
-A bracelet made out of cave spider fat

What's the weirdest you've ever encountered?

Or maybe he was a Snatcher, in the wrong place while the Dwarves were testing a new catapult?

deaths involving conflict with gravity show up as "colliding with a hard object" or "falling" in engravings, as well as a lot of screaming and crying. throw enough things off of high towers or into deep pits in fort mode and you will start getting them. deaths due to falling dont ever seem to happen in worldgen.
