Are there dwarf bases?

Hello i was wondering where i can find dwarf towns/bases and what it looks like on the world map
Edit: I think i seriously never fought any dwarf in adventure mod ;/ so i wonder if they even exist in my world

You need to mod them in as currently elves and dwarves don't have towns. Go to entity_default.txt and make them have the same type of settlement as humans.

So is it impossible to find dwarves without doing this? Because I've found zero dwarves thusfar.

Also, does it require regenning?

Yes it requires regening, and it's not "impossible"  but generally they're only bandits/quest targets when the dwarves show up.
