Picking up X amount of items.
« on: November 14, 2010, 07:32:56 pm »

Alright, killed a Hydra, butchered it, and now have 370 Hydra meat to munch on while I run around, but that's a bit of a weight disadvantage.

I feel like I'm crawling.

Any way to grab like 50 ?

No there is not. And eating and drinking requirements have been taken out in .17 so there's no need for a waterskin or food. Take its intestines, that's a good 18-20 food items, which should be enough.

Live long if you can, and prosper by any means necessary.  Any means, Urist.  So pull that lever, or by Armok, I'll lock you outside come next siege.
He who plays with dwarves must take care that he does not become a dwarf.  And when you stare into DwarfFort, Dwarffort stares back into you.

You could throw the hydra meat to unstack it, piece by piece.

Playing a cheesemaker in an average Fortress 'round here would be. Freaking. Terrifying.

It's just not worth it.
