I have a bajillion coins, including many of the same type.  When I put them into the same bag, they don't stack.  How can I compress my inventory list xD

AFAIK there is no way to stack it manually.

Perhaps spending it on something and then selling that stuff back?

Put them in a bag, stash the bag in a lair that's somewhat close to where you operate, go there and take the bag if you need to go shopping, put the bag back once you're done.
