GHOST
« on: November 13, 2010, 10:04:08 am »

So I mad a reclaim effort for one of my fortress that I abandoned when almost all of the starting seven died. So things were going fine then all of a sudden a dead wrestler from the original fortress rose from the dead. I proceeded to send my military dwarf at him he couldn't do anything. The ghost wasn't any thing either. The description says he haunts because he has no proper resting place, so my thinking is that I'll need to give a roper burial or he'll drive my dwarfs insane. He's not going to get a burial.

It has to be carved (appropriately enough) at a Craftsdwarf's Workshop by someone with Stone Carving enabled.

I intend to bury most people but leave a couple non-dangerous ghosts to wander the halls.

Considering they can apparently throw parties, I should have tons floating around so I can reenact The Shining.  Bonus points because I can imagine dwarves saying "I'd do anything for a drink.  I'd sell my goddamn soul for just a glass of beer".

Do you always look at it in ASCII?

You get used to it, I don't even see the ASCII.  All I see is blacksmith, miner, goblin.
