« on: November 12, 2010, 08:55:08 pm »

I came here because when i asked the question in modding it was not anwsered  >:(.

I need help with getting my DF perfect world maps to work on DF. I just don't know how to get them on there. Some help with accessing parameters in Perfect world because it won't let me change anything in parameters.

Asking nicely helps...

To be serious as far as I know you can not "Make" a world such as you have, in so far as oyu can't design coastlines and dictate mountain ranges.  You CAN however say "I wan't a world that is similar to this and has these TYPES of mountains and these TYPES of rivers.

But ask.... why are they drunk all the time?

In your PerfectWorld folder, there is a help file, unless you deleted it. But what you have to do is save your map, click file, import, then go to your dwarf fortress folder, data, init, chose worldgen.txt  . then open your saved world, and click file, export.

That should be it, if it doesn't work, then read the help file =]

What Ronny said.

Keep the map sizes large to keep smaller features from being averaged out.
