Why cant this forum implement OpenID?  If more forums implemented it I wouldnt have this encrypted list of usernames and passwords to maintain and type the same registration info over and over for each one I sign up to.  Even the US government have said they are going to start using it. 

Does anyone here use OpenID?  All the sites I frequent dont use it...  which is sad because lots of sites I use are providers for OpenID but dont allow people to login using it :/

You would have to ask the creators of SMF 2.0 RC3.

I suspect that they have simply been working on other stuff, or that using it would be a problem in some way.


As for why this forum does not, it's because whoever writes any modifications to it has not added it and it did not come with the forum (or, if it did, it is disabled, but if it was, then more forums might use it).
