Ok, I'm on .17, I've embarked on a HAUNTED lake, nothing, I go to an ocean, FPS death and whales...
so, are lakes LESS deadly?

Well, lakes don't have the more dangerous (If they can get to you) inhabitants the oceans got.
Matters especially when it's full of undead things.
