Just as a question. Can cave spiders (vermin) breed at all? Are there male/female vermin, or are they just a random vermin. With a troop of spiders in cages, you could slowly double the amount of silk out of them (the kiddy-spider would remain in the cage I guess).

And to think that I didn't even know you could cage the little SOBs(unmodded). Free silk, no hassles. Seems like a cash-crop waiting to happen.

Vermin can't breed.
You can cage them using an animal trap, then transfer to a cage.
