Perhaps there could be some variation. Minced is fine for plants, but what about:

Reduced for alcohol
Caramelized for syrup and sugar
Sifted for flour
Filleted for fish
Cubed for meat
Shredded for Cheese
Whipped for milk
and, uh, minced for tallow I guess

Any thoughts? Personally, I think minced wine sounds a bit wrong.

I'd rather this be held off on until cooking actually becomes more complicated.
