I tried to view the main page, but the browser says the server could not be found. Also anything related to the main site will not show (e.g. Toady's avatar).

Tried with both Firefox and IE, no luck. http://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/www.bay12games.com says the site is still up.

What gives?

I encountered the same thing earlier today. It didn't last long, but it was unusual.

I just got an email about this from somebody else, where the nameservers were apparently not resolving for a DNS site check in Germany but they were resolving at one which (I think) was in the US.  I'm not sure what's going on.

I have the same problem with www.bay12games.com -site. The whole domain seems not to work, even though it used to. Also noticed that at the same time the old link to the forums, www.bay12games.com/forum/ stopped working. The new forum link works fine though.

The IP works fine, so I believe it's something with the domain.

EDIT:
Okay, noticed that the connection to www.bay12games.com domain fails when I'm using my netstick, but when I use my parents' provider the site works fine. So it seems like there is something in the site which causes certain providers to deny the access while other providers allows the access.
