There is clearly a flaw in the character, as this is the internet, and the internet supports unicode, as well as copy and paste. Your argument that Γ is √ is invalid.

I'll repeat this one, because there is an intentional flaw in the argument (or should I say one of the arguments?) People with C/C++ experience would find it immediately, and programmers in general would notice the pun that identifies the location of the joke.
