Ultimately hard to build, expensive, and is not good compared to other methods of killing. That qualifies as Super Dwarvenly Brutal.

I usually just go with magma walkways.  A single-tile walkway lined with single-weapon traps that opens after I close my drawbridge.  To either side is a 2-z level drop into magma with no way out.  The only problem is that the armor becomes unrecoverable, but I rarely use goblinite anyway.

I've got a GCS.
The entrance will involve a 1-tile-long catwalk with weapon traps. Anything that dodges off will be chewed up by Mr. GCS. I then gather the remains and webs, melt the armor, and continue.
