Mac and DF
« on: October 23, 2010, 10:18:29 am »

Trying to install old Mac versions on my Mac, and even those are not working now. Anyone else having troubles with the older versions too now? The Sept 15, Sept 23rd and new Oct 3rd versions? The Sept versions used to work. I have a working version on my Mac now, but wanted a plain vanilla one.

I'm playing .12 on my Mac...

Do you mean old as in Boatmurdered or old as in 3 months ago?

Three months ago. Between April Fools DF2010, and now.

No idea... but why would you want to go back to anything pre-0.31..12 and post 40d?

Just trying to get the newest version I can for my Mac, since the new release is not working, but now even the old versions if I download off Bay12 will not work.

Weird...

Maybe this is affecting me too, because even though I have an Intel core, .16 won't work for me.

I've been running .16 without hitches on my 3 year-old Macbook. just installed and run like every other version of DF so far. Perhaps Toady only has an old Mac to test it on, so he's essentially making it compatible for me :D

I agree with Urist. Steampunk is like Darth Vader winning Holland's Next Top Model. It would be awesome but not something I'd like in this game.
Unfortunately dying involves the amputation of the entire body from the dwarf.
