Anyway, I was trying to figure out what it means when x( )x surrounds an item, and I ran a search for it, which turned up a regex error.

It was no big deal, I made a topic for the question instead, but I figured it might need to be called to the attention of Toady or whoever runs the forums.

Not quite.  There's also xX( )Xx, as the penultimate state of decay.
