Migrant invasion

I was just playing for about 2 years and the migrant waves had been small (like 8-10) which was good since I could increase my population slowly. That is until now when I got 27 migrants 0.0 . That could of gone better...

Was it in the Spring? My spring waves are always 20+.

I love those. whichever ones i don't have a job for, i set to Fish, Clean Fish, Gather Herbs, and Brew. Helps fill massive food and drink stockpiles.
