The one on the right, with metal wall grates in the gap.

Top one. Out of glass.

What is this, a therapy session? We don't need to console someone because they're upset about a fucking video game. Grow a beard, son, and take off those elf ears!

Top/right one, with a floor instead of a bridge segment.

Glass is an option, but I'd probably use the glass for the sides, and make it a covered bridge. ;)

Top one, floor made out of glass, and metal bars built along the side to keep anyone from falling off.

Yes, I have built OSHA-compliant fortresses. I've also tapped into magma the hard (easy?) way.

TBH, I think that all dwarf fortress problem solving falls either on the "Rube Goldberg" method, or the "pharaonic" one.

Top-right one, but I think the bridge segment needs to be extended.  It looks weird due to the level gap between the stone floor and the bridge floor.  That or somebody else's suggestion of using floor tiles instead of the bridge, since you don't need to retract it.

Lies! None of your dwarves are wearing safety helmets.

And tapping magma the hard way must be hazardous as well.
