Seems as though if you play for more than an hour or so, and try to save, the game will crash consistently.

I've had this happen at least 10 times now.  

Is this a known bug?  Am I doing something wrong?

Same thing here, I'm not sure if it is related to time played or objects discovered or quests or anything. It does seem to happen more often than not though when I absolutely don't want it too, ie after reading 1000 engravings, not after just running around slaughtering lions and wolves.

i've never tried saving on the travel map, and i'm positive that this has happened after spending quite a while in a city or a ruins or a cave without looking at the map.

i'm terrified to go for more than 10 minutes without saving, which is a HUMONGOUS hassle because it takes forever to save and get back into the game, but if i don't, i lose tons and tons and tons of legends.

The duality of success: The better you do, the longer you survive, the more legends you uncover ... the more likely you are to lose ALL of them =(

I would consider this an extremely major bug.

**edit i also tried using an entirely different computer, still does it.
