Flying dwarves in fortress mode?

Hi I'm pressed for time (breaks over)

Can you mod dwarves to fly? Would it destroy FPS? I would love to have a fort that considers flying dwarves (and maybe no cave-ins for good measure)

No. In theory it's possible, but in practise the pathfinding gets really screwy and doesn't work.
