I played through the singleplayer on hard. (hardest difficulty setting)

It was ridiculously easy... until you start fighting the Czechens. Then it just becomes easy. I guess that's a good representative of how the conflict is like in Afghanistan as it's the Czechens as well as RPGs that kill all the soldiers. The regular militia just die like flies. Also, the cutscenes keep saying there's like a thousand enemies in the entire theatre but I swear I killed them all myself by the second mission. These enemies must have some sort of cloning facility somewhere.

In any case, it's pretty much extremely generic fare. There are some lovely setpieces here and there and I especially enjoyed the helicopter section with the apaches but other than that... you've seen and done them all before. It's all, 100%, pure American jingoism the whole way though.
