How to slaughter a specific animal
« on: October 09, 2010, 12:07:26 am »

I'm breeding cows and so I only want to keep the most muscular and fattest Bulls I can get my hands on. The problem is I'm now up to 5 bulls (and 2 Bull calves) and I have no idea how to slaughter only the weak ones.

The only way I know of to flag an animal for slaughter is from z->Animals, but from that screen, there's absolutely no way to tell which bull is which.. I don't want to kill my prized bull on accident.

Is there any easy way to be able to see the description of the animal before slaughtering it, so I can make sure I'm killing the right ones?

This is a useful feature..and this is DF.. so im gonna assume its bugged
That's what cages and minecart shotguns are for!  We don't need to control them.  We just need to aim them.

Remove it from a cage and select it with |v|iew |p|references.
