grate vs. miasma

I know an inside room with a grate on the ceiling still counts as inside, but would it get rid of miasma?

I regularly floor over my refuse piles and I never get miasma.  So, despite never using grates, I'm inclined to say yes as long as it's been exposed to outside at some point.

Yeah I'm pretty sure if you expose the tiles to sunlight then they won't ever produce miasma, the wiki article agrees:
