Artifact Furniture question
« on: October 09, 2010, 02:22:14 pm »

Is the quality of an item preserved when you put the furniture somewhere?  The reason I asked is because for example one of my dwarves created Arothzefon "The Magical Fountain" a limonite table, which seems to be pretty damn nice, but when I set it in the main dining hall, the table just says "limonite Table".  Will they be happy seeing it now or for some reason is it possible the "artifact" quality disappears after setting them down?

Quality is definitely preserved and your dwarfs will get happy thoughts from your artifact table.  And well-crafted, be-jeweled furniture of all kinds.

You can press (t) and highlight a piece of furniture to get the specific info on that piece.  Especially useful to see what your statues are of.

Oh, haha!  I always used (t) just to check what was in my workshops and if they were cluttered, didn't even think of that, thanks.
