Removing bolts stuck in limbs?
« on: October 05, 2010, 03:38:35 pm »

Was checking my stocks after repelling a goblin assault, and I noticed there's a bolt lodged in my carpenter's leg, forbidden.

What will happen if I unforbid it?  I'm tempted to do some !!Science!!, but I'd rather not if someone already knows the answer.

If you unforbid it, someone will pick it up and move it to an ammo stockpile.

This may or may not cause your dwarf to bleed out.

It's much safer to leave it in there. It may even fall out on its own!

Wait, I thought that something stuck in a wound would increase the bleeding until it is pulled out, not decrease it?
