Vista boot up fail.
« on: October 01, 2010, 06:16:31 pm »

Recently, after I tried using yahoo to send an email for the first time on my computer, It froze up. I restarted the computer and was met with this scene:

I run Windows Vista, but as this comp was custom ordered, I don't actually have the vista disk.

Is there any way to fix this without the disk? We can't afford it right now. Using a diff computer right now but this one is the most important.

I can do anything I want, as long as I accept the consequences.
"Y'know, my favorite thing about being a hero is that it gives you all kinds of narrative justification to just slay any ol' jerk who gets in the way - Black Mage.
"The bulk of [Derm]'s atrocities seem to stem from him doing things that [Magic] doesn't actually do." - TvTropes
"Dammit Derm!" - You, if I'm doing it right.
Moved to SufficientVelocity / Spacebattles.

Google around that error to find out if it's something to replace, download a Linux LiveCD, and repair it from there. Hopefully it's one of those things that can be fixed by this.
