Nicknames disappearing

Hey
I've noticed that during battles the nicknames of my dwarves keep getting reset. It's pretty annoying trying to figure out who's who.
Anyone else get this?

Its cause you're doing the name changes in DT, you need to actually go into DF and change the names from the [y][n] thingy

Ah.. :/ I might just leave the names now anyway, unless I get duplicates.

I had something similar happen as well. My starting seven always had very long nicknames (such as "Toth the Dragon of Fire") but after a few years those dwarves starting obtaining epithets, and the names became annoyingly long, so I editied them via Therapist to shorter ones. Every now and then the longer nickname returns, and I have to change the name back manually.
