Furniture Stockpiles not working in .13?
« on: September 19, 2010, 09:19:23 pm »

For a while, my furniture stockpiles in this fortress were working.  Now, they are not.  My sand collectors are leaving their bags in the sand collection zone, and there's an empty stockpile waiting to receive them.  I can make a new stockpile for furniture, deleting all existing furniture stockpiles, and I'll have 30-something dwarves standing about idle while my mechanisms and sand bags sit about un-moved.

Have you activated "'u' Sand bag" in the Stockpile Settings?

I have the same problem, furniture stockpiles were working for a while, then the dwarves suddenly stopped hauling furniture items.

edit: Found the problem. The stockpile was located on an area with forbidden and hidden rocks. Naturally, not furniture could be stored there...

Have you looked at the (o)rders menu?  There is a toggle (u) to ignore furniture.

For sand bags you have to have the 'u' sand bags option enables AND you must also have the material that the bags are made out of enabled. I usually just enable all materials but no types, that way I just get the sand bags.
