Squad leaders dont carry food

I have a squad leader that is told to weild a pair of hammers -- no shield. When the squad (4 dwarves) is told to carry food, the other three carry it, but the leader does not.

However, even when told to carry just one weapon, the squad leader still doesn't carry food!

This is the latest version; v0.22.110.23c
Highly disruptive, since the squad follows the leader.

Stupid question: Did you run out of backpacks? Does the squad leader have one?

Everyone in the squad has a backpack.

I know he's not carrying any food because i can look into his backpack, see nothing, then look into the backpacks of the squad members and see a pair of "*Elk Stew*" beneath the weight value of the backpack.

It's a very reproducable bug.

All that's needed is to start a new game, make at least two of the dwarves military, give everyone in the squad backpacks, and the leader will never carry food items, even when the squad is told to.

Hell, maybe there are [saves] out there with this already. Everyone should check their [current fortress game] to see if this is happening.
