In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Minor nitpick: you may want to clean up the antialiasing on that OotS Dwarf picture on the upper right of the main page.
Minor nitpick: Antialiasing is cleaning up jagged edges.  That is not-so-much what you're talking about.
This is a white halo around the image.
Unfortunately, the dark dwarf on the dark background would all but vanish from view without that white halo.
It's a delicate balance, really.  The white outline is ugly, but it does, even if unintentional, serve a purpose.

To all about the ticker in the top right: apparently it's causing problems with a lot of browsers, so I'll change it to a static link..
Regarding the mods, I've got a section for the mod creators to host their mods but I haven't published it. It'll allow easy downloads of mods, but I'm a little unsure about hosting other people's work. I'm going to talk to them this weekend. I've got awesome hosting where  I can basically host as much as I want, and have unlimited traffic, including downloads. I'd really like to host tutorials too, but again I need to talk to the creators.
Feedback much appreciated chaps :)

hmmm. It should then be slightly thicker and a little blurred/faded so as to make it look like a little halo/aura rather than a jagged outline...
