returning prisoners -- Is it possible?
« on: September 06, 2010, 10:31:18 am »

I went to a goblin fortress and asked a prisoner to join me and in a few questions he tells me "ask me when I've retuned home!"
Can I return him?  And do I have to get to his guardian or just find his town?

I believe getting to any town of non-hostile creatures and retiring briefly will make the prisoner abandon you and start a new life there.  At least, it worked in 40d.

Playing a cheesemaker in an average Fortress 'round here would be. Freaking. Terrifying.

I rescued about 20 kids from a dark fortress, and interviewed them to find out who their parents were, and sought out their parents, only to find that I couldn't return them that way.

So the kids just followed me around while I strangled people in their sleep and pinched vultures' heads off. Much better than being raised by goblins.

By the way, I design table top RPGs and other games. You can buy some.

Last gobbo fort I was in, I gave everything the ol' dwarven massage. Didn't know you were supposed to 'rescue' elven children...
