What to do with a caged dragon?

So I'm currently running a fort I designed to be the perfect military fortress.

Except I found that I'm the only civilization. No kobolds, no goblins, no elves, no humans.

It's getting pretty lonely. I had an ocean titan show up a year or two ago, but it was killed with a few shots from a legendary hunter.

Then a Dragon shows up. It wanders over to my entrance, and immediately gets caged. It has never tasted dwarf blood, so if I tame it, it should be fine.

Now, since I will never get a seige, I've been planning on conquering the caverns. Then spoilertown.

What is the best way to put such a potent weapon to use?

Build a pressurized water cannon. Launch the dragon into the HFS.

Change the dragon's [PET_EXOTIC] tag to [PET] and tame it.
Then train it into a War Dragon.

Build it into your entrance behind fortifications, and set up a system to roast any migrants that dare try to enter your fort.

Migrants are the true enemy, they covet the precious things
