exporting local map wierdness

So, take a look at this map here:
http://www.mkv25.net/dfma/map-1115-moltenclasps

You'll notice that there are a bunch of vertical black bands that go throughout the entire map. this seems to happen regardless of what I do when exporting the local map. Has anyone else seen something like this issue?

Yep. That happens for me. Happens with world map, too. Usually not so extreme, though. Mine tends to place just a few thin black bands across the map vertically, that are less in width than a tile, and maybe one of the big ones.
Are you playing in Linux with Wine, perhaps?

nope, I'm in Windows XP.

Things I've tried, for the recrod, include switching tilesets and changing the black space on/off variable

Well at least Wine is doing its job, then... Huh. I'm going to guess it's a video card-related problem, but I'm probably wrong.

I believe these kinds of bugs have been resolved in the next version.  I don't recall what causes them, but I know it can sometimes be fixed by mucking around with the init.txt file.  Can't recall which part of the graphics portion though.
